Coating and Casting Resin
Pot life 20 - 25 mins
Cure time 6- 8 Hours
Hard Touch 12 Hour
1.5 Kg Pack
Resin 1 Kg Hardener 500 Gram
With Gloves on, pour the resin and hardner into a mixing cup, in the ratio 2:1 GMS by weight.
Stir well slowly for atlease 10min untill the mixture turns completely clear.Try not to incorporate air in to the bowl while mixing. Scrape the sided and the bottom to make sure you're being thorough(unmixed material will leave you with sticky spots that just wont cure). Once you mix he resin and hardner, you'll have about 20 to 25 mit of working time before the resin thickens and start to cure.
After making sure your pices is level. Pour resin over your work. Let the resin run over the edges. You'll notice bubbles will begin to rose to the surface. Most of the bubbles pop on their own. You may use hot air gun/blow torch over unpopped bubbles if required.
Resin needs to sit for several hours in dust-free space while it cures, in about 8 hours it will tacky but you will be able to pour a second coat if necessary in about 6 hours it will be dry to touch. it will be fully cured in 12 hours at room temprature.
To clean your mixing tools, wipe them down with paper towel before the resin dries.
